HARVEST BREAKFAST

FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 18, 2026

8:00 AM - 10:00 AM

Hollenbeck Bayley Creative Arts and Conference Center
275 S. Limestone St.
Springfield, Ohio 45505

September is Hunger Action Month, a time for food banks across the United States to rally together in the fight against hunger. At Second Harvest Food Bank, we mark this important month with our annual Harvest Breakfast fundraiser, where we focus on advocating for, and educating, our community about food insecurity in our tri-county service area. Each year, over 300 community members gather at Clark State College for a buffet breakfast and a keynote presentation from national and regional hunger relief leaders, including Feeding America executives, as well as local heroes working in our community to feed our neighbors. Every year, the event highlights a different aspect of food insecurity — previous topics have included Food as Health, Childhood Hunger, and Senior Programs.

2026 theme:
Beyond the meal: stories that nourish us

This year's theme focuses on the diverse backgrounds that make up our community of neighbors, partners and donors.

Keynote presentation from:

  • Dr. Christian M. M. Brady, President at Wittenberg University

  • Laurent Che, Spoken Word Artist/Brand Storyteller/Inspirational Speaker
