Second Harvest Food Bank of Clark, Champaign, and Logan Counties – Delivery and Pickup Text Updates

What these texts are for: Second Harvest Food Bank of Clark, Champaign, and Logan Counties sends text messages about food deliveries and pickups. We send them to contacts at partner food pantries and agencies, to neighbors enrolled in our home delivery program for emergency food boxes, and to contacts at retailers and food donors whose donations we pick up. Messages include delivery and pickup schedules, arrival times, and status updates. For example, a text may let you know our driver is on the way so you have time to get to the door or have donations ready.

 

Signing up is optional: You join by telling our staff yes when we ask, by phone or in person. You don't have to sign up for texts to receive or donate food, and saying no has no effect on your pantry's orders, your home delivery, or your scheduled pickups.

 

Message frequency and cost: Message frequency varies with your delivery or pickup schedule. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.

 

How to stop or get help: Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. We will send one final message confirming you've been unsubscribed. Reply HELP for help, or call us at 937-325-8715. You can rejoin at any time by telling our staff.

 

Delivery of messages: Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Text messages may not arrive in every case, so please don't rely on them as your only notice of a delivery or pickup.
