Last week was National Volunteer Appreciation week and the month of April is Volunteer Appreciation Month! Here at Second Harvest Food Bank CCL, we sure do appreciate all our volunteers because without their time, commitment and energy we would not be able to do all that we do to serve our community.
We have a handful of veteran volunteers that we would like to dedicate this week's blog to. These veterans have been volunteering weekly with The Second Harvest Food Bank for years. Each week they pack over 150 Emergency Meal Boxes for neighbors and assist with our Alley Distributions that takes place in the front parking lot. This group of amazing volunteers freely dedicate their time and energy to help us strive towards our mission of distributing nutritious food to people in need.
Thank you Ann Walters, Charles Ricketts, Larry Cisler, Randy Yontz, Nick Kneisley, Annette Eanes, and Steve Harbough for being some of our amazing volunteers. Your service impacts the community and neighbors we serve. We could not feed the number of people we do every week without generous volunteers like you.
WE ARE SO THANKFUL FOR OUR VOLUNTEERS AND EVERYTHING THEY DO
BELOW IS A VIDEO OF THE DREAM TEAM, WHERE OUR VOLUNTEER ASSOCIATE SAT DOWN WITH THEM TO ASK SOME QUESTIONS ABOUT THEIR TIME VOLUNTEERING AT SECOND HARVEST FOOD BANK. THANK YOU SO MUCH TO THE DREAM TEAM FOR DOING THIS! WE APPRECIATE ALL THAT YOU DO!
